What is HYDRA AiRO™?
HYDRA AiRO is a minimally invasive facet fixation implant developed by Aurora Spine for use in spinal procedures involving the facet joint.
Designed to be placed at the facet joint to provide mechanical stabilization.
Intended to support conditions where facet joint fixation is indicated.
Designed to facilitate bony fusion in accordance with surgical technique and the use of bone graft.
Engineered to allow implantation through a minimally invasive surgical approach.
Designed to limit disruption to surrounding soft tissue when used as intended.
The implant is placed through a small surgical incision using image guidance to support accurate positioning.
The HYDRA AiRO™ MIS Facet Fusion Systems is intended for posterior surgical treatment of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine from C2 through S1 (inclusive) in patients with:
Spondylolisthesis
Spondylolysis
Symptomatic pseudo-arthrosis or failed previous fusions
Degenerative-disc or
Degenerative-facet disease with instability
The systems are used with bone-graft material to achieve facet fusion.
